Day 1: Fes Sightseeing Tour With A Local Guide
Your Morocco Photography Desert Tour From Fes starts with a guided visit of Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities. After breakfast, you will meet a local guide and begin exploring the old medina.
The visit can include the narrow streets of Fes el-Bali, traditional souks, historic gates, old schools, artisan workshops, and the famous tanneries. This day gives you many chances to photograph architecture, local crafts, medina life, colors, textures, and traditional details.

Volubilis is one of Morocco’s most important Roman archaeological sites. You will have time to photograph the ruins, old columns, mosaics, open landscapes, and historic remains.
After visiting Volubilis, we continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. In Meknes, you can visit the old medina area, Bab Mansour, and some historical places linked to the city’s imperial past.
After the visit, we return to Fes. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Fes.
Day 4: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we leave Fes and travel towards the Sahara desert. The route passes through Ifrane, known for its clean streets and mountain atmosphere.
After Ifrane, we continue to the cedar forest near Azrou, where Barbary monkeys can sometimes be seen in their natural surroundings. The journey continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Midelt.
After a short break, we drive through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and panoramic viewpoints. Several stops can be made along the way for photos before continuing towards Erfoud and Merzouga.
