Day 1: Fes - Meknes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen

Your 7 Days Desert and Imperial Tour From Fes starts in the morning with pick-up from your accommodation in Fes. We leave the city and drive towards Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities.

In Meknes, you can visit the old medina area, Bab Mansour, and some of the historical sites linked to the city’s imperial past. After the visit, we continue to Volubilis, the Roman archaeological site surrounded by open countryside.

After exploring Volubilis, the road continues towards northern Morocco and the Rif Mountains. By the afternoon or evening, we arrive in Chefchaouen.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Rabat

After breakfast, you will have free time to explore Chefchaouen at your own pace. The blue-painted streets, small squares, local shops, and mountain views make the town one of the most peaceful places in northern Morocco.

After the visit, we leave Chefchaouen and drive towards Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. The road passes through northern landscapes, hills, and small towns before reaching the Atlantic side.

Day 3: Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech

Day 4: Full Day To Visit Marrakech With A Local Guide

After breakfast, you will meet a local guide for a full-day visit of Marrakech. The visit can include the old medina, traditional souks, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque from the outside, and the famous Jemaa el-Fna square.

You will have time to walk through the lively streets, discover local crafts, and learn more about the history of Marrakech. Lunch can be taken in or near the medina.

In the afternoon, you may visit Majorelle Garden or enjoy more free time in the city depending on your preference.

Day 5: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley

After breakfast, we leave Marrakech and drive towards the High Atlas Mountains. The road crosses the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with several stops for panoramic views, photos, and short breaks.

We continue to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a strong example of traditional earthen architecture. After the visit, we drive towards Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert.

The journey continues through Skoura and the Rose Valley before reaching Dades Valley.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Dades Valley.

Day 6: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we continue towards Todra Gorges. These high rocky cliffs are one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco, with time to walk and enjoy the views.

After visiting Todra Gorges, we continue through Tinjdad, Erfoud, and desert villages before arriving in Merzouga, near the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Upon arrival, you will ride camels across the golden dunes and enjoy the sunset over the Sahara. After the camel trek, you will reach the desert camp.

Dinner will be served at the camp. In the evening, you can relax under the stars and enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere. Overnight stay will be in a desert tent.

Day 7: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Ifrane - Fes

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and begin the return journey to Fes.

The route passes through Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market, then continues through Erfoud and the Ziz Valley. Several stops can be made for panoramic views over the palm valley.

We continue through Errachidia and Midelt before crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. On the way, we may pass through cedar forest areas and Ifrane before reaching Fes.
