Itinerary
Day 1: Agadir - Taroudant - Taliouine - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
Your 4 Days Desert Tour From Agadir to Merzouga Desert starts in the morning with pick-up from your accommodation in Agadir. We leave the Atlantic coast and drive towards Taroudant, a historic town known for its old walls, traditional souks, and southern Moroccan atmosphere.
After a short stop in Taroudant, we continue towards Taliouine, a region known for saffron and Anti-Atlas landscapes. The road passes through small villages, mountain scenery, and open southern landscapes before reaching Ouarzazate.
From Ouarzazate, we continue through Skoura and the Rose Valley before arriving in Dades Valley. Along the way, you will see palm groves, kasbahs, rock formations, and valley views.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we continue the journey towards Todra Gorges. These high rocky cliffs are one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco, with time to walk and enjoy the views.
After visiting Todra Gorges, we continue through Tinghir, Tinjdad, and Erfoud before arriving in Merzouga, near the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will ride camels across the golden dunes and enjoy the sunset over the Sahara. After the camel trek, you will reach the desert camp.
Dinner will be served at the camp. In the evening, you can relax under the stars and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the desert. Overnight stay will be in a desert tent.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Alnif - Draa Valley - Agdz
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and drive towards Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market.
After visiting Rissani, the journey continues through Alnif and desert landscapes before reaching the Draa Valley. This valley is known for its long palm groves, old kasbahs, and traditional villages.
We continue through the valley road towards Agdz, a peaceful town surrounded by palm groves and mountain landscapes.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Agdz or nearby area.
Day 4: Agdz - Taznakht - Taroudant - Agadir
After breakfast, we leave Agdz and continue through southern Morocco towards Taznakht, a town known for traditional Moroccan carpets and local crafts.
The road continues through Anti-Atlas landscapes, small villages, and open mountain scenery before reaching Taroudant. Depending on time, we can stop near the old walls or traditional souks.
After the stop, we continue towards Agadir through the Souss region. By the late afternoon or evening, we arrive back in Agadir.
