Overview :
The 3 Days From Marrakech to Mhamid desert is a journey into southern Morocco, taking you across the High Atlas Mountains, through ancient kasbahs, palm valleys, and quiet desert villages before reaching Mhamid El Ghizlane, one of the last villages before the Sahara.
This tour is ideal for travelers who want to discover a different side of the Moroccan desert, away from the classic Merzouga route. The road passes through the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Ouarzazate, the Draa Valley, Zagora, and Tamegroute before arriving in Mhamid.
Along the way, you will see traditional Berber villages, old caravan routes, palm groves, and desert landscapes that reflect the history of southern Morocco. In Mhamid, you will enjoy camel trekking, sunset views, and a peaceful overnight stay in a desert camp.
The 3 Days From Marrakech to Mhamid Desert tour gives you more time to enjoy the Draa Valley and the desert atmosphere than a short 2-day trip, while still returning to Marrakech at the end of the journey.
