Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

Your 3 Days Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga starts in the morning with pick-up from your accommodation in Fes. We leave the city and drive towards the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, known for its clean streets and mountain atmosphere.

After Ifrane, we continue towards the cedar forest near Azrou, where you may see Barbary monkeys in their natural surroundings. The journey continues through mountain roads, small Berber towns, and open landscapes before reaching Midelt.

After a short break, we continue through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and panoramic views. Several stops can be made along the way for photos before continuing towards Erfoud and Merzouga.

By the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, near the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will ride camels across the sand dunes and enjoy the sunset over the Sahara.

We continue to Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and desert products, before driving towards Todra Gorges. These high rocky cliffs are one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco, with time to walk and enjoy the views.

After visiting Todra Gorges, the journey continues through Tinghir and the valley road towards Dades Valley. You will see kasbahs, rock formations, and landscapes that show the beauty of southern Morocco.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Dades Valley.

Day 3: Dades Valley - Rose Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

After breakfast, we leave Dades Valley and continue through the Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves towards Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert.

The journey continues to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a well-known example of traditional earthen architecture. You will have time to visit the kasbah and enjoy the surrounding views.

After the visit, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Several stops can be made along the way for panoramic views, coffee, or short breaks.
