Day 1: Agadir - Taroudant - Taliouine - Ouarzazate

Your 5 Days Desert Tour From Agadir to Marrakech via Sahara Desert starts in the morning with pick-up from your accommodation in Agadir. We leave the Atlantic coast and drive towards Taroudant, a historic town known for its old walls, traditional souks, and southern Moroccan atmosphere.

After a short stop in Taroudant, we continue towards Taliouine, a region known for saffron and Anti-Atlas landscapes. The road passes through small villages, mountain scenery, and open southern landscapes before reaching Ouarzazate.

Ouarzazate is often called the gateway to the desert and is known for its kasbahs, film studios, and location between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara routes.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate - Skoura - Rose Valley - Dades Valley - Todra Gorges

After breakfast, we leave Ouarzazate and continue through Skoura palm groves, an area known for old kasbahs and traditional villages. The journey continues through the Rose Valley, famous for its valley landscapes and local rose products.

We continue towards Dades Valley, known for its rock formations, kasbahs, and scenic road views. Several stops can be made along the way for photos and short breaks.

After visiting Dades Valley, the journey continues towards Todra Gorges. These high rocky cliffs are one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco, with time to walk and enjoy the views.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad near Todra Gorges or Tinghir.

Day 3: Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Rissani - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we continue the journey through the desert road towards Erfoud and Rissani. The road passes through palm areas, desert villages, and open landscapes before reaching the Sahara region.

Erfoud is known for fossils and desert products, while Rissani is a historic town linked to old caravan routes and traditional markets. Depending on the day, we can stop near the market area before continuing to Merzouga.

By the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, near the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will ride camels across the golden dunes and enjoy the sunset over the Sahara.

After the camel trek, you will reach the desert camp. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by a peaceful night under the stars. Overnight stay will be in a desert tent.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Alnif - Draa Valley - Agdz

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and begin the journey through southern Morocco.

The route passes again through Rissani before continuing towards Alnif and the desert landscapes that lead to the Draa Valley. This long valley is known for its palm groves, old kasbahs, traditional villages, and desert scenery.

We continue through the valley road towards Agdz, a peaceful town surrounded by palm groves and mountain views.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Agdz or nearby area.

Day 5: Agdz - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

After breakfast, we leave Agdz and drive towards Ouarzazate. From there, the journey continues to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a strong example of traditional earthen architecture.

After visiting Ait Ben Haddou, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Several stops can be made along the way for panoramic views, coffee, or short breaks.

The road passes through Berber villages and mountain landscapes before reaching Marrakech.
