Day 1: Tangier - Rif Mountains - Chefchaouen

Your 6 Days Tour From Tangier to Marrakech via Sahara starts with pick-up from your accommodation, port, airport, or train station in Tangier. We leave the city and drive through northern Morocco towards the Rif Mountains.

The road passes through mountain landscapes, small villages, and panoramic viewpoints before reaching Chefchaouen. This peaceful town is known for its blue-painted streets, whitewashed houses, and relaxed mountain atmosphere.

After arrival, you will have free time to explore the old medina. You can walk through the narrow alleys, visit the main square, enjoy local food, and take photos around the blue streets.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

After breakfast, you will have more free time in Chefchaouen before we leave the blue city and drive towards Volubilis. The road passes through hills, villages, and open countryside.

Volubilis is one of Morocco’s most important Roman archaeological sites. You will have time to explore the ruins, old columns, mosaics, and historic remains that show the Roman presence in Morocco.

After visiting Volubilis, we continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. In Meknes, you can visit the old medina area, Bab Mansour, and some historical places linked to the city’s imperial past.

After the visit, we continue towards Fes. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Fes.

Day 3: Fes Sightseeing Tour With A Local Guide

After breakfast, you will meet a local guide for a sightseeing tour of Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities. The visit can include the old medina, narrow streets, traditional souks, historic gates, old schools, and artisan areas.

You will also visit the famous tanneries and discover the traditional crafts that make Fes one of the most important cultural cities in Morocco. Lunch can be taken inside or near the old medina.

In the afternoon, you may visit panoramic viewpoints overlooking the medina before returning to your accommodation.

Dinner and overnight stay will be in Fes.

Day 4: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we leave Fes and travel towards the Sahara desert. The route passes through Ifrane, known for its clean streets and mountain atmosphere.

After Ifrane, we continue to the cedar forest near Azrou, where you may see Barbary monkeys in their natural surroundings. The journey continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Midelt.

After a short break, we drive through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and panoramic views. Several stops can be made along the way for photos before continuing towards Erfoud and Merzouga.

By the afternoon or evening, we arrive in Merzouga, near the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will ride camels across the sand dunes and enjoy the sunset over the Sahara.

After the camel trek, you will reach the desert camp. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by a peaceful night under the stars. Overnight stay will be in a desert tent.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and drive towards Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market.

After visiting Rissani, we continue to Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and desert products. The journey continues through desert landscapes and palm areas towards Todra Gorges.

Todra Gorges are known for their high rocky cliffs and narrow canyon views. You will have time to walk through the gorge and enjoy the natural scenery.

After the visit, we continue towards Dades Valley, known for its rock formations, kasbahs, and valley landscapes.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Dades Valley.

Day 6: Dades Valley - Rose Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

After breakfast, we leave Dades Valley and continue through the Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves towards Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert.

The journey continues to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a strong example of traditional earthen architecture. You will have time to visit the kasbah and enjoy the surrounding views.

After the visit, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Several stops can be made along the way for panoramic views, coffee, or short breaks.
