Day 1: Tangier - Rif Mountains - Chefchaouen - Fes

Your 4 Days Desert Tour From Tangier to Marrakech via Sahara Desert starts with pick-up from your accommodation, port, airport, or train station in Tangier. We leave the city and drive through northern Morocco towards the Rif Mountains.

The first main stop will be Chefchaouen, the blue city of Morocco. You will have free time to walk through the old medina, explore the blue-painted streets, visit the main square, and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

After visiting Chefchaouen, we continue the journey towards Fes. The road passes through hills, villages, and northern landscapes before reaching one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Fes.

Day 2: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we leave Fes and travel towards the Sahara desert. The route passes through Ifrane, known for its clean streets and mountain atmosphere.

After Ifrane, we continue to the cedar forest near Azrou, where you may see Barbary monkeys in their natural surroundings. The journey continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Midelt.

After a short break, we drive through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and panoramic views. Several stops can be made along the way for photos before continuing towards Erfoud and Merzouga.

By the afternoon or evening, we arrive in Merzouga, near the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will ride camels across the sand dunes and enjoy the sunset over the Sahara.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, we leave the desert and drive towards Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market.

After visiting Rissani, we continue to Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and desert products. The journey continues through desert landscapes and palm areas towards Todra Gorges.

Todra Gorges are known for their high rocky cliffs and narrow canyon views. You will have time to walk through the gorge and enjoy the natural scenery.

After the visit, we continue towards Dades Valley, known for its rock formations, kasbahs, and valley landscapes.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad in Dades Valley.

Day 4: Dades Valley - Rose Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

After breakfast, we leave Dades Valley and continue through the Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves towards Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert.

The journey continues to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a strong example of traditional earthen architecture. You will have time to visit the kasbah and enjoy the surrounding views.

After the visit, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Several stops can be made along the way for panoramic views, coffee, or short breaks.
