Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Zagora
Your 2 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech to Zagora starts in the morning with pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. We drive towards the High Atlas Mountains and cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass, passing traditional Berber villages and beautiful mountain landscapes.
Along the way, we will stop for panoramic views before continuing to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This ancient fortified village is one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco and has been used as a filming location for many international movies.
After visiting Ait Ben Haddou, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. From there, the journey follows the road through the Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves, old villages, and traditional kasbahs.
By the afternoon, we arrive in Zagora. You will ride camels across the desert landscape and enjoy the sunset before reaching the desert camp. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by a peaceful night in the desert.
Day 2: Zagora - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the desert before breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, we leave Zagora and drive back through the Draa Valley, with time to enjoy the palm groves and desert scenery along the way.
We continue towards Ouarzazate and cross the High Atlas Mountains again through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Several stops can be made for photos, coffee, or panoramic views.
